Ginny Drake is a writer, poet and artist from the Kansas City area. Her work deals with liminality, folklore and the simple art of living; while also sneaking in some mythology, psychology, and some physics. She has an Associate’s degree in Art; bachelor’s degree in Psychology; and a master’s degree in Holistic Medicine. When she isn’t writing she can usually be found with nose in book, making art, crafting, wandering folklore, studying physics or happily disappearing down a research rabbit hole. Her work has been published in Aporia and The Branch and she is working on her first novel.

The same way madness can be freeing,
the lie might soothe a soul,
and the truth can bring you home.
